Travail en cours 2 / Work in progress 2...

©Jeff Stahl - All rights reserved

(oh and sorry for the ugly watermark but recently my whole work was featured in a gallery online but although the website owner mentionned it as being my work, he felt free to crop all my pics in order to remove my name and the copyright mention, which was quite disrespectful for the picture compositions, especially without my permission. So thanks for understanding, even if it looks very bad...). And actually I'm still wondering if I should ask him to remove them or not...

  1. I agree with the line art comment... Is not very appreciated, but I really believe it has much more value because of the spontaneous and intelligence thing. Is like a fashion thing because of the photoshop... Anyway, I am believing in you as an artist.

I hope some day you come visit my blog...

  2. I agree Waldo. Actually for some reason, if I had to compare, I would say that drawing a caricature with only a few lines is like playing chess. Doing it with a spectacular rendering is like working out in a gym.
    Different approaches.
Without wanting to sound too pretentious, I like to play chess in a gym. ^^

I will check out your blog soon, definitely.

  4. Salut, Jeff !

  5. @ Alberto : "Fitchess" !! Il faut qu'on dépose le copyright ! On tient un truc là. ;D

Merci et bonnes vacances à toi !

  7. Yeah David, it's a shame that we have to put ugly watermarks on our works because as you said, it changes the perception of the picture in some way...
I will do it systematically from now on, ecept for the FB contest of course.

Your last sentence made me laugh hehe ;D
